New Zealand kiwifruit growers have used the highly successful modular NZ Tube Mills ECO BEAM ® system, since the late 1990s. Versatile and durable, it supports heavy fruit canopies and has been widely used by growers over the last few years for new developments and for the replanting of orchards affected by the PSA vine-killing disease.
Following extensive research with New Zealand kiwifruit growers we have develop the ECO TEEPEE SYSTEM which is designed to enhance ECO BEAM ®. It provides a system for vines to grow up above the canopy which can easily be lowered down after pruning.
It’s easy to install and compatible with ECO BEAM ® Steel Posts or timber trellising posts in existing orchards.
ECO BEAM ® is part of the ECO TRELLIS ® Horticultural Solutions range, owned and manufactured by NZ Tube Mills, and privately-owned company with a large manufacturing plant based in Wellington. NZ Tube Mills produced an extensive range of products for the horticultural industry along with stainless steel and carbon steel tube products.
